Cast Iron Jug, Tetsubin Hinomarugata

Hinomarugata by Suzuki Morihisa is a kettle with a simple and timeless design.

Its shape, which resembles a sphere, is ideal in every respect and still offers space for a liter.

Traditionally, cast iron kettles were made in Japan to heat water. These tetsubins are therefore mainly intended for boiling water when preparing tea.

This boiler keeps the temperature of the water relatively constant and only cools it down slowly; thus the water has the right temperature for the following infusions of the tea
