Japanese Matcha

Japanese Matcha

抹茶 - is a traditional Japanese green tea produced by stone-milling a shadegrown green tea called "Tencha" into a fine powder. The quality of M atcha greatly depends on the tea bush species, shading technique and picking technic used to produce Tencha. Matcha has a rich cultural tradition as the tea prepared and revered during Chanoyu, the mindful, artistic, Zen-inspired Japanese tea ceremony.
We present the Matcha from Koyama En. These Matchas are approved and recommended by the grandmaster of the Urasenke School of Chanoyu.
